This listing is for 4 Western comics. We are not collectors but will describe each comic to the best of our ability as follows:
1) Masked Raider and Talon the Golden Eagle, Vol 2, No. 14, Aug 1958. The cover also says, "in this Issue, Billy the Kid." The color on the front cover is still good for its age and there do not appear to be any pieces or pages missing. Staples are intact as are the cover and all the pages (no page appears loose). There is one stray pencil mark (small on the back cover) and there appears to be a smaill white store tag affixed to the front cover that is almost unreadable except for the store name. The pages have browned but do not appear brittle. The magazine is very flat with very minimal creasing at the spine. This comic probably best fits the grade of "very good" according to the Overstreet Guidelines.
2) Tex Granger, Fighting Frontier Sherriff, May 1949, No. 22. This issue is called "Tex Smashes the Hooded Terror." The cover says it also features "The Amazing Wild Bill Hickok." The condition of this comic would probably fall between very good and fine according to the Overstreet Guidelines. The cover is intact at both staples but two of the center pages are detached at the top staple. All pages are present and there seem to be no markings or stains on any of the pages. There do not appear to be any missing page pieces. There is only one minor tear on the bottom of the back cover that is barely notceable but it does go through the last back page as well. There is some rubbing on the back cover. The paper has tanned with some browning around the edges but the paper is not brittle.
3) Wild Bill Hickok and the Killers of Eagle Ridge, Vol 1, No. 12, Aug 1952. While the color is still good, both the front and back covers are detached from the spine. Bptj cpvers have chipping along the edges and the front cover has a large tear through the bottom third of the cover from the edge to the middle of the over but most of the paper is still present. The rest of the pages are intact at the staples with no tears, stains, or chipping. The pages are tan with age but not brittle, except maybe the front cover.
4) Jonah Hex, Vol 5, No. 54, Oct 1981. This comic is in very good condition. No tears, chipping, or staining and both covers and all pages are intact. No creasing either but the pages are starting to tan. The story is "The Haunting."
