This is a lovely figurine of a young man with a dove from the Rudolstadt-Volkstedt factory dating mid 19th century.

It is 5 inches/12.5cm high and in very good condition with no cracks or crazing.  The only damage I can find is the dove has lost the tips of its wings and tail but this does not detract from the overall attractiveness of the piece.  It is hand painted and the colours are still bright.

Please bear in mind that items of some age can quite naturally have flaws, paint loss or manufacturing ‘dings’ and whilst I always try to point these out in my description, some antique pieces may not be perfect.
