Evening handback in bead embroidery worked using simple stitches with the sparkle of Marguerite crystals highlighting the larger flowers(seen on the front cover)
Childs blanket with colourful characters that come to life through the clever use of fabrics and with the addition of applied objects suckh as buttons, ribbons and beads. Around the edge is appliqued letters of the alphabet.
Jacobean Leaves in crewel work. The 22 leaves are embroidered using 35 different stitches, most of which are common in numerous other types of embroidery.
Casalguidi embroidered drawstring bag . Grapes and leaves. Decorative side seams and edging. Twisted cord is held by neat blanket stitch loops and is finished with beautifully decorated tassels.
