Vintage Opal & Rhinestone Screw Back Earrings

T his striking pair of vintage opal and rhinestone screw back earrings are perfect for a special evening's event.
Demure and yet dazzling, the earrings feature vibrant opals however, as I am not an expert, I cannot be certain whether these are authentic or glass copies. The rhinestones glitter beautifully in the gilded settings and offset the rich coloration of the opals wonderfully.
Elegant and feminine, this lovely pair of screw back earrings are in superb condition and are reminiscent of an era when sophistication was celebrated and esteemed whether one was reclining on a sofa during the day or playing hostess at sophisticated soirees in the evening.

As most of my items are pre-owned they are rarely in pristine condition unless described as such.
