A very beautiful set of the much-sought-after, 1st Watermark (Wide Crown Over Wide "A") 1913 Australian 4d Orange Kangaroo shade set.  The Australian Commonwealth Specialists' Catalogue (Acsc) lists the 4d Orange shades as: Acsc 15A ~ ORANGE, Acsc 15B ~ DEEP ORANGE and Acsc 15C ~ YELLOW ORANGE.  These are very nice with lovely cancels that allow the true shade of the stamp to show brilliantly through.  The shades are quite distinct and the Yellow Orange is beautifully centered (he does have some minor perf faults, shortish perfs at top left, what looks like some 'trimming' along the right, but the colour is the reason he's in high demand).

A very nice shade set for the specialist Kangaroo stamp collector, or, the person that just likes orange.
