has been increased from 500mW to an incredible 1000mW ( 1
Watt ).
This version has an improved Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) and a
bigger heatsink
compared to the previous hardware revision.
The Alfa
AWUS036H V5 1000mW
Adapter uses the same super sensitive Realtek RTL8187L chipset as the 500mW
version so you can expect fast packet injection capability. This is the
weapon
of choice for Professional PenTesters and Network Security experts.
This
wireless USB Adapter has an
external RP-SMA connector so you can attach a Yagi or Patch or an
Omni-Directional external antenna to boost your range even
further!
This
Adapter will work on any PC/Laptop or Netbook with a USB port. It is
very easy
to set-up this adapter with ad-hoc mode to connect to other 2.4 GHz
wireless
computers or with Infrastructure mode to connect to a wireless router
for
accessing the internet. If you find it difficult to connect
