This is a 2 disk box set consisting of 8 western movies of the great singing B western hero Jimmy Wakely. DISK 1 ROARING WESTWARD 1949 After claim jumper Sanders kills a miner, he changes clothes with Perry. In pursuit, the Marshal kills Perry claiming he was the murderer. THE LONESOME TRAIL 1945 Jimmy and partner Dusty have bought a ghost town in the Cherokee strip. When they arrive they find their other partner Lasses has sold 51% to four crooks. SONG OF THE RANGE 1944 Finding Dale's wallet, Denny returns it just as two men shoot each other with one dying and one escaping. Dale blames Denny for the murder and Lasses has to pose as the Sheriff to free him BRAND OF FEAR 1949 Jimmy Wakely (Jimmy Wakely) and Cannonball Taylor (Dub Taylor) escort Anne Lamont (Gail Davis), the new school teacher, to Oreville, where she is molested by two outlaws, DISK 2 SILVER TRAILS 1948 Jimmy Wakely (Jimmy Wakely) and "Cannonball" (Dub Taylor as "Cannonball" Taylor)find the body of Don Muquel after he has been shot and robbed by henchmen Ramsay (Pierce Lyden) and Sturgis (Fred L. Edwards.) Jimmy is accused of the crime by Jose Esteban (George J. Lewis as George Lewis)but the latter's rich uncle, Don Esteban (Robert Strange), clears his friend Jimmy. SPRINGTIME IN TEXAS 1945 Pete Grant controls the town of Pecos and it's Mayor and Marshal. When Jimmy, Denny, and Lasses arrive they soon find themselves in trouble. Already suspected of murder, Jimmy and Denny catch two of the three men that rob the Express Office only to find themselves framed for the robbery. SONG OF THE DRIFTER 1948 Jimmy (Jimmy Wakely) joins Cannonball (Dub Taylor) on a visit to the widow Fennamore (Patsy Moran), Cannonball's old girlfriend, at Firehole. Engineer Colton (Gary Garrett) is killed by henchman Smoky Morgan (Carl Mathews) and Philip JUdson (William Ruhl) hides the body. TRAIL TO MEXICO 1946 Foiled in an attempted holdup of a shipment of gold ore driven by "Lasses" White (Lee 'Lasses' White), the Texas Kid (Brad Slavin) forces Jimmy Wakely (Jimmy Wakely) to change shirts and horses. The Kid finds a letter of introduction which will put Jimmy in charge of gold shipments for mine owner Don Roberto Lopez (Julian Rivero). During the robbery of the mining office payroll, the Kid kills a man and drops the letter.
