This yarn is twisted up for us from the Cariaggi spun 2/46NM weight we sell in our cobweb weight section, first into 3 strands and then three strands of the result twisted the opposite way, The original Cariaggi yarns are quite tight spun, so this yarn is not as fluffy as some of our cashmeres, but the 18 strands give a great structure and softness after washing. There aren't many dk weight cashmeres with 18 plies... for garments with great strength and drape as well as the luxury of cashmere...

The original fine yarns were lightly oiled for industrial knitting of luxury garments, so we recommend following the industrial practice of washing off these oils with hot water and detergent AFTER making a garment (try it with a swatch first)..

We ship worldwide, unless asked otherwise we use Royal Mail first class in UK, Royal Mail Airmail small packet overseas. Usually that takes about 1 week to arrive in US or Asia, but can be a little longer.
