Red Hot Poker Mix – Brightly Coloured Perennial

Kniphofia uvaria

This eye-catching perennial will make a great impact in your garden, a clumping variety with grass- like foliage making a great foil for the delightfully changing colours of the gorgeous blooms. Starting off white, changing to yellow, to orange and finally red. You can have all these at once because 2 to 3 flowers can bloom at the same time on a single stem. Likes full sun, adequate moisture in well draining soil and grows 2-3 feet. Recently featured on Better Homes and Gardens as a drought tolerant plant.
