FINE VINTAGE TKS SHIRE HORSE SOC. ENAMEL BOX- LTD EDT

This is a fine vintage large handpainted enamel box by the famous Birminghan enamels makers Toye, Kenning And Spencer, holders of the Royal Warrant and commemorating the anniversary of  the Shire Horse Society. It is 2 & 1/4inches in diameter and is beautifully decorated with a pair of heavy horses pulling a brewer's dray.(see picure - please excuse the flash reflection) The base is enamelled in pale green and is decorated with pairs of horses ploughing. It is in fine condition without chips, cracks or repair amd has its fine silk lined presentation box. It also has a certificate of authenticity stating that it is no.103 of a limited edition of 600. A lovely scarce box that would grace any collection of fine Englishmade enamel boxes. NO RESERVE.
