This is quite a valuable accumulation of South Australian State stamps with many early stamps in the SG 2 – SG 61 range. I have had these stamps for a long time and I had always intended to sort them out and list them individually but I just haven’t got the time and so better that someone else gets the pleasure, and, no doubt, profit.

 When placing these on the scanner, I noticed quite a variety of items including very early 1850s -1860s stamps, many Large Star watermarks, stamps with Inverted S in the Overprint, Mint Plate Proofs and Colour Trials,  a Departmental Overprint (P), pairs and blocks of 4, OS perfins and Overprints, print flaws and a wide range of shades for the various values. There is probably much more than this in the lot as nothing has been checked, including the perforations on the various stamps. I’ve no doubt that the combined CV of this lot would run in to the many thousands.
