The storyline of Modern Warfare 2 picks up where the events of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare left off. The ultranationalist Russian leader Zakhaev has been eliminated, but it seems that his lieutenant, Vladimir Makarov, is an even bigger danger. Having made a successful play for power, Intel indicates that he is extending the reach of his influence well beyond the borders of Mother Russia, causing a stir in the international community and prompting the involvement of Task Force 141. Task Force 141 is an elite multinational unit made up of Navy Seals, Delta Force operatives, British SAS and CIA. In the single player campaign you are Sergeant Gary "Roach" Sanderson, with the hero of Call of Duty 4, "Soap" MacTavish, promoted to Captain, making an appearance as an NPC (non-player character) and your commanding officer. The elimination of Makarov and his underlings at any cost is your number one priority, regardless where the fight occurs.

- Challenging Multiplayer Modes - Modern Warfare 2 will contain a wealth of multiplayer modes including: the every man for himself action of "Free-for All," the classic team-based fun of "Capture the Flag and the tactical, team-oriented action of "Search and Destroy."
- Improved AI Enemies - Improved artificial intelligence now allows enemies to attack from virtually any direction as players respawn into the game adding additional challenges.
- An All-new Call of Duty Adventure - Modern Warfare 2 features an all new Call of Duty storyline revolving around the continuing struggles against the Russian rebel group the Ultranationalists, who have found a new and more dangerous leader.
- The 'Special Ops' Optional Co-op Mode - "Special Ops" Mode allows two players, either alone or with a friend, to engage in unique mission play and features split-screen functionality.
- Diverse In-game Environments - Battlegrounds traversed in the game range from the lonely, snow-clad mountains of Kazakhstan, to dark tunnels in the Afghanistan and the crowded slums of Rio.
- Nonstop Action - Modern Warfare 2 contains no cutscenes, so players are always engaged in the action, no matter where they are in the game.
- New Breach Gameplay Mechanic - Players can now blaze their own paths through the game by "Breaching" formerly impregnable obstacles like Walls and doors with explosives.
- New Gadgets, Weapons and Weapons System Modern Warfare 2 contains many new and updated weapons, new weapons attachments, as well as a variant of the multiplayer weapons customization system from *Call of Duty 4, now available in the single player campaign.
- New Perks and Increased Customization - Multiplayer modes feature new perks for leveling up, and for killstreaks and deathstreaks. Those awarded for streaks can customized in advance according to when they become available.

Shipping Information
Currently AlternativeDVD processes and ships items Monday-Friday. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed during normal business hours only (9:30am - 5:00pm, Mon – Fri) and/or shipped the following business day. We will not be processing or shipping orders during national holidays.
To ship to US we use several carriers like USPS, FEDEX and DHL and the shipping rates and delivery times are calculated automatically by our system before to proceed for final checkout.
- Shipping method "Other" specified at the bottom of the auction stands for FEDEX Express 2DAY
For orders paid with Paypal the shipping address must be confirmed and verified by Paypal seller protection policy. We might ask for further information in order to ship to unconfirmed addresses.
Same rules as US apply to international addresses, but delivery time is subject to customs delays. International buyers are responsible to pay eventual customs, fee, taxes, import duties or any other applicable charges. We have no jurisdiction over these charges and cannot determine what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information.
A street address is required for all international shipments. AlternativeDVD reserves the right to refuse orders shipping to certain countries or regions worldwide.
Packages sent to USA address are not insured, buyers have the option to purchase insurance at a flat rate of $0.45. Insurance will cover loss, damage of the package during transportation. Packages shipped with FEDEX are already insured up to $100.
Packages sent to international addresses are already insured up to $250 against loss and damage during transit. However, buyers are required to wait up to 45 days after package was shipped. We won’t be able to file a claim before that deadline. Buyer is responsible to collaborate with us and insurance company on providing further information that might be required to process the claim.

Return Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you find that you need to return an item, please review the complete details of our return policy below to determine if any special return conditions apply.
Items may be returned within 7 days of the ship date for a refund. If you would like to replace the item you have returned, please place a new order. While most items are returnable, they are subject to the following guidelines:
- You will receive a refund for the item(s) and shipping and handling costs for defective, damaged or misshipped items. For all other items, shipping and handling costs cannot be refunded. (Note: Return shipping cost refunds are calculated using the lowest cost shipping method. Items returned via expedited shipping methods will only be refunded an amount equal to the lowest cost shipping method).
- Returned merchandise must be in new condition with its original packing and accessories intact or it may be subject to a restocking fee.
- Before to make a return please contact our customer support to Helpdesk@AlternativeDVD.com to receive an RMA number (return merchandise authorization)
- Pre-Order products are not refundable when release date is postponed, but they can be exchange with other similar items.
- Video Games will be exchanged if, and only if defective. Returned video games will be thoroughly tested professionally by employees, and if found not defective, buyer will cover shipping expenses in order to have the game returned. If disk is badly used or scratched, our Return Warranty will not apply.
You should receive a refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper; however, in many cases you will receive a refund quickly.
All products are subject to manufacturer warranty when applicable. For all the other products AlternativeDVD will handle the return upon contacting our customer service at Helpdesk@AlternativeDVD.com. We generally offer a 30 days warranty on all our line of products.
