xb ford falcon gs ute gt optioned

here is a gs gt optioned xb 1973 mod

i bought this car off a friend 3 years ago who had owned it from new .

it was resprayed back in dec 07 and since then had very little use and also due to letting rego expire in may 09 to the potential buyer at there expense i will help with re registering there shouldent be any problem in doing this the car still drives excellent and looks great.

my friend whom owned it assured me as from new the car has only done just over 200 000 ks the motor dosent blw smoke or use oil dosent even have a oil leak .

the engine bay wasnt touched when painted .when the car was painted it was put back to origanal colour that was tropicana green when my mate purchased the car they special ordered that colour apparentley was not to commom colour the car was also ordered as a what they call a overnighter which it used to have a hard top on the back which you could sleep in hence being a overnighter apparently not alot of these cars made they were a special order and unfortunantly he got rid of it some years ago but i did come across one a few years ago on ebay and one it and then he wouldent part with it you know who u are haha.

this car was made with the gt dash and bonnet from new it was a auto but now runs with a single rail 4 speed which is in good cond no noises good working order and the only other thing changed it has a black bench seat not the origanal brown one

when resprayed got them to leave inside the door around the hinges to show not hidding anything the car is in good rust free cond the sills and floor also in excellent cond there was a bit under the front window and bit around the back window which was fixed properly when sprayed it still has all its origanal chrome which is still very shiny .door trims still in good cond no rips or tears dash has no cracks still also in great cond .

my mate some years ago cut a section in the back tray and put hinges on it so he could put stuff in there like a boot it would be a good spot to future buyers to maybee use this for gas .

i do also have 4 of the origanal 12 slots but they have seen better days and a few years ago my friend came across a old xb and took parts from it these also go with the car nothing was ever used on the ute there just spares there is extractors and lots of little things like door handles yada yada
