yamaha fzr-r250 naked

 HELLO, This is my FZR-R250.
up until 2 weeks ago it was great, then something happened and i took it to the
machanic to fix it ,but spent my money on a new toy.
starts first go,runs{slightly high] but a mess around with mixture screw
would not go astray, rear tyre 95%[still hairy],needs new front tyre,mechanic recomended
a top end rebuild[as they do!], brand new chain & sprockets[front spkt geared for acceleration],fork seals
replaced and re-done 4mnths ago, plugs& leads replaced 6mnths ago,new battery,clearance valves
reset and corrected and shims replaced,reserve tap has a small leak, only drips very minimal oil
[hardly any],brakes seem o.k,no rear blinkers[i bought eye shot LED's and plan to keep them.

"I AM NOT A MECHANIC", and have tried to explain everything correctly,but please remember
that the bike is 18yrs old, and for any info you may need feel free to contact me any time of the day
just not after 9.30 at night[kids, the mrs, and i will be asleep].sold as is
It also has 4 mnths A.C.T REGO.BUYER TO ORGANISE PICK UP AT OWN EXPENSE.

 INFO ABOUT TOP-END REBUILD. the mechanic said he would need to strip some of the engine down to see what the problem is{ not running right, wont go over 80-90km}, hence the top-end rebuild, but i did'nt go ahead with finding out the problem.
Please be aware that although the bike starts and runs, it is running rough and will need to be looked at.
